St. Vincent de Paul Food Collection 2017

Each year, St. Mark's SNS collects food items to give to those in need at Christmas. These collections are given to our local St. Vincent De Paul. Donations are collected in a box in each child's classroom and are combined during the last week in December to give to those in need. Every year the children and staff of St. Mark's are extremely generous and we would be very grateful of your continued support again this year.

What should we donate?

We should donate non-perishable food items with a long expiry date. The following are some examples of foods to donate:

  • Tea and coffee
  • Sugar
  • Tinned fruits and vegetables
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Noodles
  • Pasta/Rice Sauce
  • Packets/tins of soup
  • Cereal
  • Treats such as biscuits, chocolate, Christmas Cake/Pudding, selection boxes, crisps, popcorn, Christmas Crackers.

**If giving tinned food, it might be helpful to ensure tins have a ring pull on top**

The deadline for collections is this coming Tuesday, 19th of December.
